Business website costs: licenses, hosting and renewals
Separate your first purchase from later costs and account for domains, hosting, updates and support.
Contents
The cost of a business website is more than a theme price. A Webfly budget includes the selected theme and license plan, a domain, hosting, optional updates and support, and content preparation. Current sale prices are displayed including VAT on product and pricing pages.
Estimate the first year
List the software package, domain, hosting, optional services and content preparation separately. If you select a hosted plan, count included hosting only once. Logo design, photography, copywriting and custom development are separate from the software license.
Webfly does not promise one fixed project cost: the theme and plan affect the total. This guide therefore links to current plans and theme choices instead of embedding a price list that may become outdated.
Costs in later years
Domains and hosting renew under their providers' terms. You do not need to buy the perpetual software license again each year. Renew yearly updates if you want access to new releases. Continuing hosting under a hosted yearly plan also requires renewal.
Not renewing updates is different from not renewing hosting. Existing licensed software remains usable after the update term ends; an expired hosting service can separately affect site availability.
Support and installation
Opening an account support ticket is free. When offered, yearly priority WhatsApp support can be purchased separately. Ask what is included if you need hands-on installation or migration assistance on your own hosting.
Compare like for like
Compare the same theme, license count, hosting term, disk allowance, update period and support scope. Do not mix VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive quotes or assume optional services are included. Check the final purchase summary for your selected options and contact us about any unclear requirement.
